FAQ'S
Where does our hemp come from? -
Our hemp is grown in beautiful South Australia!
How is the Hemp farmed?
Hemp is an incredible plant that offers numerous advantages for both individuals and the environment. It enriches the soil by returning valuable organic matter and nutrients, thereby enhancing soil health. With its rapid growth, hemp also naturally suppresses competing weeds.
-
Carbon Absorption: Hemp has an extraordinary capacity to absorb carbon from the atmosphere and transfer it back to the soil.
-
Soil Regeneration: It plays a vital role in restoring carbon-depleted soils by sequestering carbon and locking it in for future plant use.
-
Post-Harvest Benefits: After harvesting, the substantial biomass left behind is plowed into the ground, providing benefits for subsequent crops.
Whats the difference between Hemp and Cannabis? -
Both hemp and marijuana are part of the same species, Cannabis sativa, and they share some visual similarities. However, considerable variation can occur within a species. For example, while Great Danes and Chihuahuas are both dogs, their differences are quite apparent. The defining difference between hemp and marijuana is their psychoactive component: tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC. Hemp has 0.3% or less THC, meaning hemp-derived products don’t contain enough THC to create the “high” traditionally associated with marijuana.
